Welcome! I didn't have any when I joined either, and now there are four looking down from my shelf. Addictive ponies... I had years as a child of admiring Julips from afar, ordering the catalogues even though I couldn't afford the ponies - they are so worth the wait though! Definitely addictive, and so demanding when it comes to needing rugs and riders and tack and pets and...!

Hi all, I'm Jocelyn - model horse collector for a little over a decade and Julip admirer but alas, owner of none. My collection totals around 700 horses of various makes, scales and finishes. After pining for a rubber pony for a good five years I recently purchased my first two (Equorums) and I'm head over heels in love! I mainly joined the forum to start feeling my way around the community and maybe purchase an Original or two to add to the herd. I've always loved "bendy horse culture" - the DIY ethic of it, the personality/storyline behind it, and its more laid-back nature compared to other facets of the model horse hobby. Alas, I'm from the USA, so bendys are few and far between, so they usually have to be imported which is not cheap. I hope to amass a small herd and take them along to shows just for fun and spread the word about these lovelies across the pond!

Wow there's lots of people on here I'm Casey, I'm 14 years old and I ride at a local riding school every Saturday and have been since 2009, I started collecting model horses in 2012. My first models were a set of tiny breyers, I now have something over 30 and counting! I started collecting julips a couple of days ago. I only knew about the HoTY models, I didn't like the new ones as they all look the same. I hope to get a real horse soon, I'm still learning so I want to be a responsible owner and not get one until I'm ready. I make do with a pony at the riding school who I love to bits and we've kind of taught each other (she used to be quite bad mannered) and now we're practically inseparable!

I've just realised I haven't posted on here yet So, I am 19, I ride in 3 different places generally, I have been collecting Julips since I bought a Caroline and Conker set out of a Ride away catalog when I was still in primary school which was closely followed by Polly and Pandora, then Puzzle then... well you get the idea! I got my first Julip in 2008-9 not sure which, Buttons my pit pony you came from ebay, he was then closely followed by Minstrel in 2009 (I know this for sure as I stumbled across his old for sale advert while looking for stables yesterday!) and I now have 13 originals (which is an unlucky number and therefore I definitely need another one, when are the next spares due? ) In other news I have 11 guinea pigs 8 of which live in my old wendy house and I REALLY want a Ford Anglia 105e (google it!) but I have nowhere to put one so in the meantime I shall continue to buy Julips as I can apparently sneak them into the house unnoticed, if they don't come in the post that is!

Hi, I'm Helen, im 31 and live in South Wales, I used to ride and then decided that keeping model horses was much less dangerous (but still as expensive). I started collecting the MBH horses, then bought two HOTY Julips (can't remember their names but it was a palomino with purple rug and I think I had Jigsaw?) I then lost my collection when my dad stopped talking to me, didn't realise what Julip Originals were until I saw this forum and fell in love with them! My first was a special run (Tigerlilly foal, pictures to follow) and my new unnamed Appaloosa who is gorgeous! I have a feeling my collection will expand quickly, heh

Hey, I'm Elizabeth, I'm 23 and live in New Zealand. I started my HOTY collection in 2006/7 just before Julip stopped selling here. My first set are Hazel ad Harlequin(my favourite). I currently only have 6 horses and 1 foal. Finding Julip horses here is not easy. I didn't even know about originals until I found this forum.
I have loved horses since the early days of my life but have never owned one (its still on the christmas wishlist). ELM is the first initial of each of my 3 cats names. I have a lovely husband who understands that when Julips come up on trademe (nz's ebay) I have to buy it if I don't have it. :-D

Hi I'm Mary, 21 from Bath. I have been on and off J-club since the very first forum my first Julip was Bob the Cob, Shortly followed by Ted and then Bonnie And Banner (who i still have) These quickly branched into my julip obsession, when i was 11 i got my first Original, Crystal. I sold some on to fund other hobbies but i have 6 Originals, 2 HOTYs and 2 Customs left. I used to ride every week in the RDA, but not ridden due to having major Jaw Surgery in October and now i am expecting so my riding is currently on hold. I breed and show Guinea Pigs. I have 13 of them currently, and am a mainstream and independent shower, having attended big shows like Real London and Bradford Small Pet Champs I also occasionally judge. I also have a Choc Lab, 3 Cats, 4 Hens and a Rabbit.

Funny that lots of Julip people are guinea pig people too! I had lots when I was younger, I think 18 was the most I had at one point and I used to breed and show rexes

Umm... Hello? XD My name is Magda but I'm known in the model horse hobby as Mangalarga. I'm collecting since 2011, mainly Breyer Stablemates, in lesser extend Schleichs, Collectas (and similar) and bigger Breyers. I'm very much into customizing aspect of the hobby. I own no Julip (yet!). I'm 27, I'm from Poland but I've moved to Scotland (Edinburgh) almost exactly a year ago. I've known Julip for a few years now, mainly through EG's collection I've always considered them adorable. Recently I've met EG on Royal Highland Show. She brought one of her Julips with her and I had an opportunity to hold one in my hands. Love from the first touch, you could say XD - I've been browsing Julip photos every day since then! I'm definitely getting at least one Julip, but not in the nearest future - my current financial situation needs to improve first. I know that Julips like the company of their own kind, so I've decided to get oly sort of portraits on virtual horses I own in an online game called Star Stable (any players, btw?), 7 at the moment. I haven't been riding for 8 years now, I'm more focused on my breed and colour knowledge now I might be more of a lurker for now, at least until I get my first Julip!

Hi guys, I'm Ali! I'm 21 and live in the midlands in England, I've been collecting Julips amoung other models for as long as I can remember! I was on the previous j club forum and recently stumbled across this new one (I didn't even realise it existed anymore-oops!) so it's nice to be back! I started riding when I was 8 and have owned a couple of horses but due to lack of time I don't have one at the moment I do however have 2 dogs, a rabbit and a tortoise. So yea, that's about it, hello!
