Have a look at the forum FAQs - there's a "How do I post photos" bit that should help you. :-)

I resize my pics to a max width of 800 pixels before I upload them to Photobucket - I think if they're any wider than that they might not display properly on the forum but I'm not sure...
Hope you manage to sort something out anyway.

In my experience, photobucket downgrades your image quality as soon as you upload anything - I'd definitely recommend flickr - there's no need to resize anything as you can pick what size to display when you go to share them. I usually go for the 'medium' ones.

I tend to use 800 pixels too, but only to save space on my photobucket account - if you make them any wider than that, the new version of Proboards just shrinks them to fit, so they still display fine, but the extra file size takes up more memory on photobucket than it needs to when no-one will ever see them any bigger than forum-sized anyway

I've had a look at your posts and I think it's because you're posting them as attachments that is making them show up small. If you upload them to photobucket (or flickr, or wherever) and select the URL of the image, then paste it on here between [*img] and [*/img] (take the stars out!) then they will show up bigger.
