I forgot to post these on here! They were from the March batch of spares - I named her Skylark cos I'd heard a lark singing the day before she arrived, so it seemed very springlike and perfectly suited to my herd cos I have several bird and nature names already. I love her colouring, it really reminds me of the older styles of shaded, speckled colours, and the blonde hair goes well with it (it took three days and a lot of mousse to make it go that tidy, I actually had to go in a Superdrug and look at haircare products for the first time ever, lol) This one doesn't have a name yet, I chose him cos he reminded me of a real shire foal I knew several years ago, but of curse I've had to change computers a couple of times since then so I don't have access to the photos to look up what that one's name was. I know he must've been a colt cos otherwise he'd still be there, they waited years for any of their mares to have a filly so they could keep a younger one to breed from when the others got too old. And finally, three of the little pets who snuck into the parcel too, I just cannot resist the new varied animals in each batch of spares Nigel the retriever (named after the one on Gardener's World), Tara the Bernese Mountain Dog (after one a neighbour had when I was a teenager), and Marmalade the sitting cat, to match the sleeping one I got earlier this year, who's the same colour and named Marmaduke.
