Hulland Julip Live Show 2024 Schedule
Date: Saturday 20th April 2024
Venue: Hulland Ward Village Hall, Hulland Ward, Derbyshire, DE6 3EG.
Time: Doors open 9.00am for a 9.30am start. Hoping to finish around 5.00pm.
Show holders: Elli Garnett, Jan Hagues & Caitlin Mayes.
This is a show for Julip models - no other makes of horse/pony or pet are permitted, although riders and accessories may be of any make or homemade.
Rules
Maximum of 3 entries per entrant per class unless otherwise stated in the schedule. Please note that in Mould and Colour classes, no tack or handlers are allowed.
No running, dogs or smoking (including e-cigarettes) permitted in the hall.
Please do not touch or move anyone elseβs model unless you have permission to do so and take care when placing or removing horses from the rings.
Any queries regarding the show or classes should be directed to the showholders.
Entry Fees & Payment
Entry fee is Β£15.00 per show entrant for a full table (measures 6β x 2β6β), Β£10 per show entrant for a shared or small table (measures 3β x 2β). Please note that this year there will be a small charge of Β£2 for spectators. This can be paid in advance or on the day - but please let us know so that we can allow extra chairs/space when planning the table layout.
Payment can be made by PayPal β please contact Jan or Elli for payment information or if you would like to pay by a different method. Payment secures your place!
Sponsorship
If you would like to sponsor a class, section or championship, please get in touch. Contributions will be very gratefully received and acknowledged in our show programme.

Information
Please bring a packed lunch β light refreshments (snacks and drinks) will be available throughout the day.
Any monies left over after expenses have been covered will be donated to a local animal charity.
Entrants under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.
There will be a raffle and time for sales at lunchtime. Any donations of raffle prizes will be very gratefully received!
Judging
The Moulds section will be judged by individual judges - any entrant without an entry in a class will be eligible to judge if they would like to. Volunteers welcome!
All entrants will be able to judge the remaining section classes (by whatever method they wish) using the 1st to 6th counter system β instructions will be available on the day. Please do not place your own models.
Certificates will be awarded for 1st to 6th place, with rosettes for section Champions, Reserve Champions and top 3 in the Scene and Supreme Championships.
Photography
Many of us like to take photos of the models and show activities during the day, some of which are likely to be posted on Facebook and internet forums after the show. If you would prefer photos not to be taken/shared of you or your models, please let the showholders know before show day.

30. Custom (by you or someone else) and PYO (Paint Your Own) Includes HOTYs.
31. Best Dressed Horse, Pony or Longear β max 2 per person, handler optional
32. Congas β minimum of 3, maximum 5 models in the same mould, colour or other common theme. Max 2 congas per person.
33. Best backstory or rescue β Tell the story behind one of your models in no more than 100 words - can be made up or a real-life rescue story! 1 entry per person
