She's a vintage Welsh pony, the older welsh not the pony mare which became the current welsh. I think she's a letter J. She's a light chestnut or palomino colour, slightly speckled. Her hair is a cream/flaxen colour. She's in very good condition and is still slightly bendy and I can't see or feel any gumminess at all. Issues: I have rehaired her as she'd lost most of her original hair; the paint on her eyes, muzzle, her white star and ear tips has been slightly touched up due to paint rubs; she also has that slightly uneven texture to her body that some vintage Julips seem to go with age and her white socks are discoloured from age.
She comes with everything in the picture, mostly vintage Julip items: a red felt rug with green binding, vintage checked summer sheet, leather surcingle, pony saddle and bridle, plus a doll figure who is not Julip but in style and probably age fits quite nicely with Julips. She's made of cloth with mostly felt clothing and (I think) leather boots. Her facial features are embroidered on and she has curly light brown hair (not sure what that's made of, maybe some sort of thread or yarn). I have no idea who made her or how old she is but she is nicely made and I do think she is quite old, probably older than the pony). She's not really poseable, I don't think she was actually ever wired so she can be posed, so she's more suited just as a handler or something like a riding instructor or the mother of a young rider. Her hat is removable. All these items are in good condition also.
(I do also have other models I'm looking to part with - no other Originals but I have HOTYs (mostly customs though I think there's 1 original finish rubber HOTY), Breyer classic customs, Magpie customs, a few Breyer stablemates, one or two original sculpture horses. Maybe something else I've forgotten about. I don't have pics of any of those at the moment but if you're potentially interested in anything let me know.)
