I am looking for old Julips. 1990 and earlier. I used to have a huge herd all hand picked at that time, that I sold. I am looking to recreate it.
I am actually a cake decorator and these skills are very transferable to Julip horse restoration. Also more than aware of the kinds of storage needed for these old models.
I know these models are very in demand. I will pay well and I am a reliable buyer - I can point you to my very high ebay rating.
Not sure if the pandemic or being a single mother to 2 teenage girls has pushed me deeply into the happy world of old Julips but...!

I’m new to the group and wondering what the value of my old herd would be approximately. I started collecting in 1970 with a hunter and my final purchase would have been around 1978. Hours be probably got abound 15 including new forest, Shetland, horse in action, jumpers polo pony, American quarter horse, foal, Arab stallion and Arab mare. How much does one go for ? I’ve searched the internet and can’t seem to get any answers. I may well be interested in selling. Thanks and will await some answers

Julip prices vary wildly, things like condition and popularity of moulds will influence their value, but a fairly plain and common Julip could catch someone’s eye and the price could go much higher than expected. The American Quarter Horse, New Forest and Shetland are still in production, so don’t always go for particularly high prices, but they are popular. Your Arab Stallion, Arab Mare and Foals are probably older versions of the mould, rather than ones currently in production, unfortunately they aren’t always as popular, but there’s definitely a market for them! The Horse in Action, Jumpers and Polo pony are more unusual finds and could be very popular! As I say, condition is pretty influential on their value and sharing good descriptions of condition or even better, photos, will help the people on here give clearer price guides

Hi Stacey. Thank you so much for your helpful comments. I know we are now in communication via email which is so much easier. I have been able to join the Facebook Julip group too and have managed to put a lot of photos onto that medium. It was a bit overwhelming to begin with and there is a lot of interest in many of the models. I’ve been trying to “keep a book” of who had shown interest in which one and you are at the top for Rip Van Winkle!

Thank you, I completely understand if you chose to eBay them - no doubt they will all find great new homes! I really appreciate the opportunity to even see photos of them and hear their stories, particularly Rip Van Winkle 😊
