it really has been that long!! i think my last purchase was my vintage lippi, and since he came to me i've moved house twice, finished school and done over half of my first year at uni. anyway, i've always been obsessed with the colouring of the catalogue model storm, so here's my third original in that colour - making it almost equal with the number of dun ponies in what's left of my collection i think! this one actually *is* storm, the other two are a DH and a CJP, the former of which has massive leg rubs and the latter is yellowing and going sticky, much to my distress. apologies for the rubbish pic off my phone with all my clutter, i might get a chance to take some better ones when i'm home again. he has weirdly high up positioned eyes but i they're very big and the older style that i like. i'm not sure yet if i want to keep his name or change it - i have a lippi called stornoway so storn/storm might be confusing... any suggestions welcome. thanks a lot for him jen!

Ooh he's lovely Pip. Are you getting back in to collecting then? I recently had my first newbies in 4 years arrive too!

i'm really trying to when i can spare the money, i miss it and the people so much. i found it really hard to be into model horses without the real horse stuff at the same time, so i'm going to try and find some yard work near where i've just moved to and get it all going again. i rode for the first time in two and a half years this summer and i realised how much i missed it and how happy it made me so i'm determined to start again. (is this what they call addiction relapse, haha? )

He's great, a Julip classic. Call him Tempest or Cyclone to make him different but still keep the storm connotations.
