Ok so first horse is not even remotely new anymore, I think I ordered him about 2 years ago now but I had not taken any pics of him until recently poor boy. He is a portrait of one of my old horse's field mates, Mikey. Mikey was an ex racehorse bought by the riding school where I kept Tom but he was rarely used in lessons due to being a bit bonkers. He was like a puppy dog, always making a beeline for people to say hello and give them a good licking! He had a cute pony like head along with a big lanky body so suited the TB mould perfectly.
Real Mikey:
'c'mere so I can lick yer!'
And his Julip version
- Laura did some beautiful soft shading on him and big soppy eyes just like real Mikey.
And because real Mikey always seemed to end up with tatty hand me downs, I decided Julip Mikey needed to be spoiled with a nice cosy Rambo rug. I tucked his mane in as it's gone a bit frizztastic and needs a bit of work!
So a belated thank you Laura, he's lovely!
Aaaaaaaaaaaand second up is one some of you have already seen, my new Lippi spare from the show. She is just a little bit tasty! Her name is Suenos Dulces, (Spanish for Sweet Dreams) but she's known around the yard as Dreamer.
Pretty lady
Out exploring her new paddock

I'm so pleased you managed to make it to the show especially after such a long absence, hopefully it will be the first of many and that the spares scrum didn't put you off!

Ooooh, they're both lovely but that Lippi is divine! It was so good to finally meet you at last!
