This is completely unrelated to all things Julip but I figured you would be the group of people to ask, I bought a gnome today and the paint was peeling of his trousers so I have repainted them with acrylics, what should I use to seal the paint and make it weatherproof?

I wonder if you might be better getting something from B&Q or Homebase, they might have some sort of exterior varnish for weatherproofing things like planters and terracotta pots
