My small herd continues to multiply! I was cruising around on eBay the other day looking at Julips and I saw this gorgeous guy and he totally caught my eye. I had actually been thinking about wanting a similar Julip, and then when I saw him on eBay I knew he was the one! I have a literary theme going on with my Julip names (both Willoughby and Sylvia's names are from The Wolves of Willoughby Chase by Joan Aiken), and I was thinking about how nice it would be to have a Julip named Howl after Howl's Moving Castle (I am a big fan of both the novel by Diana Wynne Jones and the movie). When I saw this fellow I realized he was the perfect Howl! I feel really glad I won him because it wound up being a pretty competitive auction in the last couple minutes. I realized a few days after I paid for him that I accidentally had him shipped to my workplace instead of my house so I had to go rescue his box from the creepy loading dock at like 10:00 at night because I didn't want to wait to get him until the next day I had a shift He was worth it though! Without further ado, here is the stunning boy himself... FullSizeRender (12) by Hannah P., on Flickr He looks so pretty with the bluebells in my yard! Also here's a bonus picture of him and his namesake in case you aren't familiar with the movie version of the character so you can see the resemblance. howl and howl by Hannah P., on Flickr

Thank you everyone!! I'm glad you like him!
I agree about him needing some tack and a rider now, Cookie! That's going to be one of my first projects once my university lets out for the summer! (only a few weeks to go now!!)
