After being nommed at by a cluster of hens last week... http://instagram.com/p/BLYnHhdAo72 ...I thought how awesome it would be to have some for our Julip yards! They come in so many varieties and colours too!

Oooh yes, ducks would be great! (And geese! My old riding school had some geese and they were terrifying!)

We had some 'guard' geese at one of the yards I kept a horse at. One night someone broke in and and stole all the goslings!

Peafowl! (I love peacocks (I would especially love a model of a peacock that's just standing, not with its tail splayed out. All the Schleich etc ones are made with their tails up and it's got pretty boring) but I like peahens even more and peababies are adorable) (Probably Julip peacocks wouldn't be that much different to the pheasants, except for the colours obviously)

Haha. We went to one place that had some guard geese. 1 was a youngster and ran over and hissed, everyone in our group scrambled, I stood my ground, he hissed at me again, I stood still so it started pecking at my boot and trousers. I started loling. Tony said it wasn't nice he was trying to do his job. But he was tickling me and I'm not normally tickalish! Poor lad looked at me, honked and tried harder which made me ROFL more. The look of disgust he gave me before honking, shaking it's butt and waddling off was pure *I hate you* lol. So funny but felt so sorry for hurting his pride at same time. He followed us around the farm at a distance after that
