I was amazed to get this gorgeous CJP from the spares night - he is even lovelier in real life than any photo can show
I'm really struggling with a name for him - I want to call him Copper but I already have a horse with that name...
I also managed to nab this lovely little dog - the painted detail on him is gorgeous and he has such a cute face!
Completely blank about what to call him too.

Russet, Sorrel? Or a longer name could be Rustic Charm? He's gorgeous! I know what you mean about the glossy ones, they look even better in reality! I love the doggy's little face, do you have a favourite TV show? I called my new cat Daphne after the character in Frasier

And Rustic Charm would make a great show name - thank you for so many brilliant suggestions! *puts thinking cap on for favourite TV shows / films etc*

Gorgeous horse! If he'd had a darker mane and tail I'd have leapt on him myself!

I love the cjp, I've got a chestnut one very similar though so wasn't tempted The dog is very cute but for some reason reminds me of Peperami (the adverts for it anyway - he's very cute so don't take this as a criticism, haha) so I'd probably call him that (probably a good job my Julip animals don't have names...)

One of Pepper's nicknames was Peperami. The CJP's colour itself is lovely (I think I actually prefer the darker shade to my own chestnut CJP's colour but don't tell him that), although personally I don't like glossy models.

He's beautiful Jan! I wasn't sure about the glossy finish when I first saw it but having seen a few more photos I do like it it really brings out his colour. I'd be kicking myself now but I'd spent up by the time he was posted!

I'd be kicking myself now but I'd spent up by the time he was posted! When I opened the box I fell in love! The glossy finish makes the colour richer somehow and it wasn't as shiny as I thought. I'd love this colour on a pit pony

Love the CJP the dark legs and nose though make me really want to give him a black mane and tail and make him a nice bright bay! The glossy finish is really nice on him too

I wasn't sure about the glossy finish but decided to take a chance - it looks quite shiny in photos, but is more subtle in real life and I really like it on Russet.
Thanks for all the doggy name suggestions! I've gone with Rover, I think it suits him. I'll save Peperami for something else - a Julip Dachshund maybe... ;-)

The shiny finish just happened, it wasn't planned and both horses were painted in exactly the same paints as we always use but for some reason both the CJP and ID came out glossy, no idea why!

I did wonder about that - I've got a very shiny hunter from a few years ago and apparently he just turned out that way too, it wasn't intended.

I was gonna say, I bet you couldn't reproduce it He's lovely Jan, I was this far away from buying him, I refreshed the page about 4 times and no-one had bid, but I'm glad you got him!
