I had a fantastic day on Saturday, and this evening I managed to get home from work before the light went, so I was able to photograph my newbies! Mums pick was Adler, the Arab mare, she's beautiful She's named after Irene Adler, in Sherlock, because she is a similar colour to my Arab stallion Moriarty And when Mum noticed a unicorn foal, she had to have her. So introducing Meg, foal of Mystic... I was very good this time and picked just one... well, just one horse... This is Hawthorn, I'm very happy that I managed to swipe one of the new Stock Horses! I wasn't a massive fan of this mould as a HOTY model, but I love it as an original, I can definitely see a few more of these joining my herd. When I saw this family of Arctic Foxes, I thought - They have to stay together! I already have 2 Julip cat look-a-like Ozz's but in his old age he likes to sleep more and looks a touch scruffier than his youth, so here's Ozz III Finally, I'm sure you'll see more of Jake in future scenes! I love the detail in his tattoos and his clothing. And a group photo!

Nice haul! The shading on the foxes is really pretty Jake is ...interesting...will wait to see his stories..he reminds me of the farrier who used to arrive at the yard to me met by a string of teens who had spent hours piling on the make up, doing their hair and practically forcing coffee and chocolate biscuits on him every five minutes!

Jake was a spare - but I think mum grabbed him before he hit the table! Hawthorn was my favourite of the stock horses too, but I'm pretty sure he'll have some friends soon!

It's so nice to look at the photos and to see which models everyone chose, a lot of them went while I was sorting out the goody bags and various other bits, so I didn't get to see which ones went where.

They're lovely Stacey it was great to see you and your folks on Saturday too! The Arctic fox family are such sweeties. And I got a short haired version of your cat I think! Jake is great haha - I just spent the evening at the stable being told how I "had to meet the hay delivery man, because he is SO HOT" - exactly like capriole is describing haha.

I love Jake too! You'll have to do a photostory or something with him - yours would be amazing with all the scenes and props you have! Spook sent me an email saying he's very upset to be missed out of your newbie post btw

Haha, working with a load of girls at a yard makes this very familiar - there's always a feed man or straw man or dentist who get this sort of attention from them

The Arctic foxes remind me of Huskies. I think a sitting one is going to have to go on my Christmas list.

Spook sent me an email saying he's very upset to be missed out of your newbie post btw Spook should have been better behaved when I was trying to photograph him then Don't worry, I plan to introduce him at the weekend... When the light is better, hopefully! As a grey horse, he's just appearing as a grainy blob

You're going to be jealous girls...I've a picture of my other half when he was eighteen looking spookily like Jake (minus the tattoos hehe)
I remember when the local young professional show jumper used to come to our yard for our little Sunday competitions and clear up (I'm not bitter, honest) and we all used to ogle him...sigh.
That colour on the stock horse is beautiful!

We never had this problem at my yard, but at school once there was a new (young and attractive!) techie teacher and virtually every girl in my class was besotted with him and signed up for techie the following year just so they could be in his class...and then he left. XD They all ended up with this fusty old teacher who hated children! XD
