I actually ordered this beautiful mare a few months ago, but several unexpected bills meant that I couldn't actually pay for her until this week, and she's been chilling out at Julip HQ for weeks now, lol!
I've promised Laura my next order will be something simple as I think I was being a bit cheeky with this one as she was such a specific colour (chocolate palomino) but I couldn't be happier with how she turned out - one of the most beautiful Julips I've ever seen...and she's all MINE! (She's supposed to have birdcatcher spots too but I forgot to add them on. >.<)

She doesn't have any tack yet other than a headcollar in forest green with some gold plaited detail on the cheekpieces but I think green is definitely her colour.

I ordered her as a portrait of a horse character I'll be using in the Horse Art RPG group on deviantArt (it's kind of like photoshowing, only with drawings and stories) and as one of my personal rules for HARPG is that I base my virtual herd on my Julips, (for a character to exist in the game, they must exist in the real world too) I just *had* to order another Julip. -Here's- her ref pic so far.
She's a Kaimanawa; one of New Zealand's feral horses which are rounded up every couple of years and the best stock adopted out. There's a HARPG event called the 'Kaimanawa Challenge' which I entered (and won!) last year, where your yard takes on a wild horse and illustrate its taming and training and all the excitement and shenanigans that result. My writing and drawing muse disappeared off a while ago so I haven't done anything for this year's yet but now that she's officially 'alive' I'm hoping it'll come back soon!
She's already met her future boyfriend, fellow Kaimanawa Toa, who I got for the event last year and won with - you can see all his adventures on this page, just follow the links in the description! -linkylink-
