A whole month after Christmas and I finally get round to introducing him This boy was my Christmas present from my dad and probably the bane of Laura's life for a while! He's a portrait of my lovely old loan horse Rufus who I just had for a couple of months before moving to London for uni in March 2013 (and while on the topic of uni... I'll be a third year this march!) P1020101 by josietoes93, on Flickr P1020104 by josietoes93, on Flickr His headcollar is a copy of the one real Rufus wore, and the rug is just made to match. EG might recognise the felt, and the stripy fabric is from a lot of free swatches I ordered online I love teal and chocolate as a combination so I'm very happy with it! P1020100 by josietoes93, on Flickr Settling in on the yard P1020106 by josietoes93, on Flickr I loooove him, Laura did a fantastic job of matching his roany hind leg which I know was a complete pain in the bum to paint! Here's real Rufus for a comparison. rufusref by josietoes93, on Flickr rufusbear by josietoes93, on Flickr It's lovely to have him in latex form real Rufus was recently sold, so I hope he's having a lovely time wherever he is!

Oh he's gorgeous! And so unusual. Real Rufus properly suits his name, he looks a nice chap. Love the rug!

What an unusual color! Definitely an interesting portrait. I also like the turquoise and brown color combo--very sharp!

How unusual - looks like he's lent against wet paint
