Like most live-show goers, I went home with more latex animals than I left with!
First was one I ordered from Laura a few weeks ago. Since seeing EG's lovely grey dropped head mustang I knew I had to have one, and decided to go for a lovely sooty buckskin. I was very annoying for Laura and specified that I wanted ear floof as well! She did a fantastic job on him, his ear floof is lovely, he has nice subtle pink/grey on his snip and I'm just generally over the moon with how he turned out! Turns out I'm not biased either has he did fantastically well at the show, winning the colour championship, fun championship and going Reserve Supreme overall
I also got this lovely little chap from the spares table. Coincidentally we were talking about skewbalds going grey in the car on the way there! The dartmoor mould has been one I've wanted for a while so I'm really happy to have added him to the collection. Stacey seemed relieved I'd bought him so she wasn't tempted by adding more dartmoors to the army! I hurridly called him Little Marvin after a skewbald-gone-grey I used to know so I had something to write on his prize card, but real Marv was a big chunky cob (like yours Kits!) and it didn't really stick, so I've renamed him Buzby
With his little rider, sixth place rosette from the dartmoor and NF class and wearing his snazzy new rug and headcollar set. Thanks Laura for the green felt and ribbon from the goody bag and Elli for the checked fabric
When Georgie and I first got to the table there was a lot of "ooh, pheasants!" and they are so sweet and nicely painted I had to have one. And that was supposed to be it, but I loved this little terrier from the start and went back and picked him up and looked at him a ridiculous number of times before asking Laura to pop him on my ever expanding Paypal bill
Group newbie shot!
Well Dun needs a stable name and little terrier needs one too if anyone's feeling creative
