I bought this Family Horse as a special order in 2007 - as the Julip paintjobs got better and better over the years she tended to get left out of shows and photos so I decided to ask Laura if she would repaint her for me. Here she is in her original paintjob:
As you can see, the colour is very flat with no shading, although she has quite a nice face.
I gave Laura a choice of 3 colours - a bit like in the days when you filled in your Julip order form with a mould and 3 colour options so you didn't know exactly what you would get until you opened the parcel. It was so exciting when this parcel arrived! Took me right back...
She's so pretty, I'm completely blown away by the transformation. Her name is Phoebe and her old rug didn't suit her anymore (it was shades of brown/orange/yellow) so she had to have a new one.

Beautiful coloring! I love the recent dapple grays, and the snip is just darling. I kind of like the idea of picking three colors and waiting for a surprise; I may have to try it one day!

Sorry if I'm bumping an old topic, new to this! I'm ordering a horse on this mould, painted as the horse in my Profile pic. She looks stunning! I've never had any of these models before and I hope to buy a lot more than one! I may have to buy a HOTY model or something on the cheaper side of julip
