There have been some exciting Julip arrivals to Friars Wood Stables lately!! IMG_4034 by Hannah P., on Flickr First up is Foxfire! I had posted seeing if anyone had any Julips for sale since my birthday was coming up and my mom had offered to buy me one as a gift, and Jane responded that she had this beautiful stock horse for sale! I fell in love with him straight away and I’m so glad that he could join my herd. IMG_4031 by Hannah P., on Flickr Then we have Captain Fred the vintage Handy Hunter! On my birthday, Rachel posted so many beautiful vintages for sale! And since it was my birthday, I couldn’t resist treating myself! I had been wanting a handy hunter for a while so I was thrilled to have the opportunity to bring this guy home! So two Julips made my birthday very happy, one from my mom and one from myself LOL IMG_4032 by Hannah P., on Flickr The last new arrivals were a bit of a surprise! Over the summer, I had purchased some pets in a spares sale and unfortunately they wound up lost in the mail. Laura refunded me and we were both sure they were gone for good. I was so sad to think of them being missing and was actually planning on ordering copies of them after the holidays. Then, the other day I found a Julip envelope in the mail and was confused because I hadn’t ordered any pets. Then I saw the date on the package was from the summer and I realized that my lost pets had finally made their way home!!! I was delighted and returned the money from the refund. I can’t believe how lucky it was for them to show up!!! IMG_4033 by Hannah P., on Flickr

Foxfire is a nice unusual colour (almost typed his name inside out, cos I have one called Firefox ), and I'm SO glad those pets have turned up at long last, how sad to think of animals being missing forever - lucky you didn't order their replacements beforehand and end up with sets of twins!
