So I have finally got around to taking pics of the lovely vintages I got the other week on ebay. The lot was sold by hospice care, so in memory of my Grandad, who benifited from this charity two years ago, let me introduce Gerald, Donald and White Willliam. Gerald Donald, son of Gerald White WillliamApart from Donald, who is a vintage foal, I have little idea what molds the other two are. If anybody has any ideas, id be eager to hear what you think.
The condition isnt amazing but great for their age as they do all still have their hair and stand unaided.
I am considering either to keep them as they are or take the plunge and restore the pointy ears, new mohair manes/tails, paint cracks and potentially repaint eyes (they dont seem to have anything but black eye sockets!) Would also appreciate advice on the wisdom of this!
Many thanks

Congratulations on getting them, what a lovely vintages and they look in lovely condition for their age, I'm not sure I would do anything to the two larger horses as they don't look too bad at all, maybe you could fill the cracks in the foal or just paint them so they are not quite so visible, eye wise I think this was pretty much how they were painted back then, they did sometimes have a little bit of brown around them like the black horse but that was about it, I'm not sure of the moulds but I'm pretty sure someone will know what they are

Great finds! I especially love the grey - it reminds me of those noble steeds in Stubbs paintings.
