Welcome two new gals in my rubber herd! Winnie (Lady Winifred), sunbleached black Friesian x Percheron mare. I came across photos of black horses with streaks in their mane and tail sunbleached to rusty red, and now I'm obsessed with this colour combination ❤ She's beautifully shaded, although my camera barely caught her dapples! Bambi, a flaxen mealy chestnut Arabo-Haflinger mare. She's hesitant as for her official name, kinda leaning towards Toasted Marshmallow, but I planned Oh Deer to be her show name. We still have some discussing to do before we settle on something! They arrived yesterday just after I left to work, and as I came home late, I decided to open them today. It was a bit of torture, but the wait was definitely worth it! 🥰 Thank you Laura again for these beauties!

Bambi is beautiful. Winnie is really pretty too but Bambi's colour is so lovely.
(I want a Haflinger colour sort-of-portrait model the same sort of colour as her but I still don't know what mould would fit it. I never would have even considered the Arab champion but actually seeing Bambi now it's not way off from what I was thinking of.)

astudyinscarlet AC definitely looks great in this kind of colour (as she does in many others, I instantly fell in love with this mould once I got it!), I'd say go ahead!

Bambi is absolutely gorgeous, the darker chestnut really contrasts with the pale shading, and really suits the sharp elegant mould.
And I like that sun-bleached colour, too, one of the ponies at work is a black shetland who fades over time, so his coat's got chocolate brown patches by the time he's ready to moult it, but his mane and forelock have permanent ginger highlights!
