With the brilliant crafting thread that was started by astudyinscarlet a few days ago (see Coronavirus quarantine crafting thread) I though that the Model of the Month competition for April should be 'Look what I made' Anything goes for this competition from the tiniest object like something for your tack room to the largest like a stable, it can be rugs, tack, any sort of accessory, just about anything as long as it is somehow Julip related. A short description of what was used and how it was made should be included if possible, just so others who may like to have a go at making it can do so. Because of this being slightly different circumstances to the normal Model of the Month, you can enter as many 'makes' as you would like. Please post your photos below to be in with a chance of winning the next marvellous metallic rosette and a small prize for the best entry

Audrina, Lurk, & Ribsy The dolls are both original sculpturs - the heads and arms are made from sculpey and the feet are made from resin powder (this stuff is great, it mixes up with water like plaster) cast in Blue Stuff molds - check out the molding section of the Green Stuff website for awesome supplies at great prices. All the bits were attached to wire armatures which I then wrapped with strips of packing foam to build up the bodies. The skin is coloured with pastels and the feet painted with acrylics. Lurk's clothes are 100% wool felt, with satin ribbon accents, and a vest and hatband made from one of my old shirts. After dressing, I stuffed his arms and legs with fiberfill to further bulk him up. I intended him to look a bit like Riff-Raff from Rocky Horror Pictureshow, but he sort of took on a life of his own. Audrina's clothes are made from three pairs of old underwear (not the crotch part) and an old dress sock, and her hair is mohair. After she was dressed I stuffed her arms and bosom with fiberfill. She turned out much more like my mental image of the character.
Ribsy is a Julip labrador which I repainted with acrylics. The bony pattern was inspired by Laura's Halloween contest prizes and I thought it was perfect for my undead couple.
This trio was intended to make their debut this show season in a scene, but that will have to wait a bit now.

Two wheeled cart made for the Julips The wheels are from a knock-off Barbie bicycle I got on eBay, the frame is strong steel wire and ductape, and most of the construction is corrugated cardboard with the edges covered by masking tape. The shafts are kebab skewers. The seats are leather. The suspension is wire sandwiched between electrical tape. The whole thing was sealed with strong Mod Podge which gave it a really nice sheen

A couple more 'makes'. Model horses for model horses. The stalls block is based on the vintage Julip ones. It's made from thin cardboard which I painted. The wooden stable block is made from lolly sticks with matchsticks inside to act as supports, with little scraps of sand coloured felt to imitate shavings bedding. The roof can be lifted off. The doors are non-opening but have tiny fake hinges and latches cut from the excess parts on some sheets of letter stickers. The horses inside that and the donkey are model railway figures, as is the dapple grey in the stalls and the bay with the rug but those two I have customised. The other four horses at the front I made from scratch out of tiny wire skeletons and milliput and are loosely based on Julip moulds. The jump was cut from a section of tiny fence (it might have been a Mini Whinnies one). The storage box is just a little mache one which make great little storage boxes for Julip bits and pieces. And I decided a couple of weeks ago that my Julip Arab mare Castanea Sativa should have a baby but since it's not possible to get an actual Julip one currently, I decided to try making one. So, meet Acer Rubrum.
She's made from a stiff wire skeleton, with the body and neck and base head shape bulked out with air-drying clay with wires added to provide a base for the ears and some beads to form a base shape for the eye area, with milliput sculpted completely over the top of that, then sanded, painted, sealed and haired with wool crepe doll hair.

Another of my bigger 'makes', my Fell pony Jack's stable with attached mini tack room. (I put more details about how I made it all in the quarantine crafting thread so I won't repeat all that here)

Thank you so much for the rosette and prize. Evie keeps chickens so she has claimed the hen for herself (she's not so keen on pinning the rosette up inside her caravan though as it may not leave her much room for anything else)
