We are so excited to announce that our new Julip mould is going to be a HEAVY horse! We felt there was a bit of a gap in the current Julip family and that there wasn't really a nice big heavy horse in the existing moulds. I can't thank Tania Ward enough for taking on the challenge and for producing some conceptual drawings that are just absolutely stunning! (I'm sorry the photos just don't do them justice) So without further ado here is what is going to gallop into the Julip workshop hopefully around late spring next year, it will be cast without the feathering so that it can double up as a Suffolk Punch and a shire when the feathering is added. And just a quick note to say thank you to everyone who contributed to the raffle both with donating prizes (biggest raffle I have ever seen!) and buying the tickets towards this beautiful mould, we did fantastically well, so thank you so much.

Ooooooh, I like the sound of the non-feathered ones particularly, I like Shires and the like but I love Suffolk Punches and Percherons and some of the other less-feathery European heavies

Yay! A new drafter mould! I mentioned it on FB already, but I'd love it to be quite versatile and not too leggy, so that it could be used for variety of heavy breeds (like this Italian Draft for example). There are some real heavy horses I'd absolutely LOVE to own in Julip version, so I'm even more excited about this new mould!
