Just wanted to thank Laura SO much for my new arrivals this morning. Been a very long time since I got a new Julip and its really made my year already! I've cobbled together some tack (really must get to grips with this milarky!) just to show the new boy off and give 'Christine' (she was named after a lass called Christine Abbot whose pony 'Windsor' I used to ride as a kid, when she outgrew him and moved up to her new pony 'Starduster') Now there's a bit of a story behind 'Christine'. On my first (and only) visit to the London shop in March 1973, my parents had taken me down to pick my birthday Julip & rider. Actually though I didnt get to do that much picking...my mother decided she'd do that, and being as I was being treated, I didnt want to argue. So I got my first Julip horse - 'Cherokee' an American Quarter horse and 'Christine'. At the time I tried gently to point out that Christine was a bit too small for the AQH and really needed more of a pony but Mum wouldn't have it, so away we came. And up until yesterday, that's how things remained, poor little Christine looking like a sparrow sat on the horses (I never got further than 4, but that's another story) Today Laura's parcel arrived and I knew instantly he was the boy for my poor little rider - they match in size to perfection! So here she is - with her fabulous new boy with her spaniel (a brilliant replica of my boy Lewis) at their heels. Him lazing about when he should be out with the pheasants. Thanks again Laura - it was a long wait -but for me & Christine, worth every minute! Di xx

Gorgeous cob stallion - really love the added feather. So nice that Christine got her pony at last - she's had to be amazingly patient! Lovely animals too!

funnily enough when my brother was in the UK years ago (197?) he too went to the store and picked out a grey AQH and a CHILD rider. Sadly neither survived to see 2000
