I'm doing the very important job of thinking about my Christmas order! I can't decide between two portrait models of real horses I used to know - an enormous bay I used to ride called Mischief (thinking TB or dropped head hunter) or a cheeky black Shetland who free roamed the yard I learnt to ride at and (subsequently loaned a pony from) who would obviously be in the pit pony mould. For added cheeky-factor I think a wire neck would be great, but I haven't got any with the flexi neck before, and obviously the degree of flexibility depends on the mould. Does anyone have a pit pony with the neck done like this? Any photos?

Not a flexi neck but Bob the Pit Pony has a turned head. I'm on my phone so can't get a photo sorry but he's in show photos from the live (plus I know you've seen him haha but I don't just assume you remember all my horses in perfect detail lol).

Is it sad to say that I do remember Bob in perfect detail? I did think about turned head if flexi neck doesn't seem worth it! I love Bob so that helps they'll be very different though, Pip was so old his face and bits of him were going grey, which I think will be rather cute!

I have a black pigpone with a wired neck. Doesn't make a massive amount of difference to mine but there's definitely some give and she does look different! i just have mine with her head curled round a bit so she looks super cute and super naughty

I have a bendy-necked pigpone, Cuthbert - here's a pic of him (the grey) with a standard pony. There isn't a massive range of movement, but (apart from the fact that he's quite a bit bigger than Midge) you can see some difference.

He's adorable! What a fantastic colour! I am getting so excited for Christmas now.
