Hi everyone!
I've spent hours trawling through the Internet to find you! I am an avid HOTY fan who started collecting in 1995. I have, however, been out of the loop for the past 4-5 yrs. It appears I've missed quite a bit - Julip as 2 separate companies!!! Do you know if the HOTY range is still going or are they just clearing through residual stock? Are there any plans for any new horses.....70th anniversary special??
TIA

Welcome back to the Julip community Yes, you're quite right, the HOTYs currently being sold are just what was left in stock at the point the company divided, there's no new releases you've missed, and none planned for the future, it's kind of a 'when it's gone it's gone' situation now. The 70th Anniversary celebration model isn't one particular Julip 'catalogue model' like we used to have, but a choice of any mould made into a Unicorn for you, the details are here : j-club.proboards.com/thread/763/mythical-julips-annivesary-yearWe've also had a commemorative rosette, but they're almost all gone now so you'd have to be quick if you wanted to add one to your collection : j-club.proboards.com/thread/743/julip-70th-anniversary-rosettes-available

Thank you George, you've been very helpful!
It's really sad that it's reached the end of an era but very glad to see the originals are still going strong (will have a look for a unicorn)!
Are you the same George from 'Georgie's Julip Horses' fame?

Yes, that's me! Still collecting and forumming, but not running my website anymore (the company it was made with shut down, and I never have found anything free and simple which I liked enough to make a new one with)

I still cannot believe after 30/40 years of collecting Thelwell ponies it was only last year I found Julip Blimey, all those years of missing out on Julips!!! I hope you've done plenty of catching up ? I've been collecting the HOTY range for 20+ years. I only have one original, a palomino Arab champion from the 70's.....but I'll soon have the unicorn to add to that! What others do you have?
