I've lost one flag, XC flags & numbers have changed completely since I made that anyway, tack has moved on so much mine just can't compete, and the rider's a bit grubby and old-looking now. I'd have to remake more of it than I can leave as it is, and I just don't have the oomph to get it done I'll be bringing blue tack (and mini edible hedgehogs) but my green stuff went mouldy so I don't have any of that to lend you (mould is not an authentic addition to outdoor scenery. Tack rooms, yes, hedgerows, no ) Oh Georgie, no-one would notice those 'problems' with your cross-country scene if you were to enter it, I'm sure! I might throw something together last-minute for a scene entry but I don't have anything proper to enter either.

lol, given your previous sentence I took blue tack to mean blue tack and wondered which Julip had such an unusual set! But I agree, bring it anyway! If all else fails it could be a group entry of lots of horses spooking at it and throwing their riders off, Gerry style!

Awww no! What about Petra and the XC jump? I've always loved that setup! Speaking of which, if anyone could lend me some blue-tack and some moss/foliage I'd be exceptionally grateful! I completely forget to pack some for one of my entries! I've got some moss stuff, it's light green, you're welcome to that if it's of use

Oooh yay, thank you! I don't need much, it's really just to hide the aforementioned blue-tack which will hopefully be holding part of the setup together!

With wonderful timing, the clutch in our car went this morning. It passed it's MOT on monday! We're still coming, we have the garage's courtesy car, but the cost of the trip just went up by at least three Julips

I've packed my horses, not taking any buildings or bases this time, so it's just the odds and ends to gather up now (things like glue and paint for emergency repairs, mousse and a brush for any manes which go crazy overnight in the box, plus money for if I'm bad and buy a spare even though I shouldn't ) Amazingly they all fit in one box this time, my mum concerned about boot space with three of us in the car has loaned me a big plastic storage container with a lid and all the horses fitted in it easily

Got a bit of cash out of the cashpoint, cleaned out the car and put fuel in it, route planned and pick-up times arranged with my passengers, washed my hair so I don't smell of real horses... Think I'm nearly all prepared!

I'll be looking round for my boxes when it's time to go home and thinking "Nah, that posh plastic one's not mine, they're cardboard, where have they gone?"

Think I'm nearly all prepared! Haha, I have also just finished packing, went down to the corner shop to get cash out and washed my hair, but as we are going in your lovely clean car mine is still in a state hidden out of view (I do love it really... it does break down 100% less per month than the old one which is wonderful, it just definitely gives the impression I have two kids and possibly a sensible sort of dog, say, a nice labrador.)

I just brought Bob the Pit Pony into the living room to do his hair as a final preparation, prompting Tom to try and make a Julip - related comment: "nice pony... horse? Stumpy legs... Pony? Horse? No, pony. Equine. Mammal."
