I remember my thrilling trip to sight-see in the Hulland area - Elli took me to look at a car mechanic's yard, a field with a distant pony in it, and part of a dead pheasant! (All this plus a ride in an AA van with a creepy man, it was such a grand day out ) Silliness aside, really looking forward to the trip up there again, and it genuinely is a nice area to visit if anyone's parents or partners are looking for something interesting to do while we all play ponies

EG, you up for another shot at the Lake District this year?

They're very nice hills there's a reservoir nestled between some of them near Hulland if we do get nice weather, or even bigger hills up past Ashbourne, or hills with lovely rocky outcrops... Derbyshire is good for hills ...And hologram museums

I know about hills, my Gran lived in Buxton for a while, we used to be hauled out on massive long route marches up to the top of Solomon's Temple when we went to stay.
