I'm sure she'd be welcome too, like Elli said plus ones (or twos) are made welcome - you do just have to sacrifice valuable julip space in the car to get them to the show

I have no idea how/if I'll be able to get down for this but I really, really want to go! You can stay over with me if you want to. Ooh thank you, it might be just a bit far to travel to, but I'll definitely keep it in mind! So far it looks like I might be getting the train from Manchester as my parents want to go there to see my grandma while I'm at the show, but I'm not really sure what to do after that, lol. Does anyone have a spare sofa and/or recommended places to stay nearby? ( bearing in mind I'm super skint. XD)

The cheapest place I could find last year was a b&b at a pub in Bampton (the village where they filmed Downton abbey coincidentally) haven't looked this year yet as I don't know if I can have the day off :/

Definitely bring your Julips!
As a first time shower myself, what things do I need to bring (other than my Julips of course!)? Thanks!

Definitely bring your Julips! As a first time shower myself, what things do I need to bring (other than my Julips of course!)? Thanks! Not a lot really, Charlotte Make sure you bring some cash in case you want to buy anything, as people will probably have things to sell at lunchtime and you'll need cash if you want to buy raffle tickets or anything from the spares table. Raffles at shows normally take donations of small raffle prizes but there's no obligation to. Bring any props (tack, scenery, handlers/riders, etc.) that you need for any scene entries if you're planning to enter those classes. Ridden classes need appropriate tack and riders. The normal classes, like mould classes and colour classes, don't need any props/tack/handlers/bases - your horses can enter those classes on their own. I think Laura is providing lunch at this show but if you're particularly fussy or have something you really want to eat/drink then bring that. Normally you do need to bring a packed lunch to a live show though so it's always worth checking! You might want to bring a camera Those are the major things I can think of but I've probably missed some things - you shouldn't need to bring masses of stuff with you though anyway

Write yourself a note with what classes you plan to enter. Even if you only have two, it really really helps to have a written reminder on your table with what classes you want to put them in. It's SO easy to miss your class cos you were too busy chatting or looking at someone else's models, or even just forget. I often have horses travel all the way to and from a show without entering anything, all cos I forgot to put them in the class I had in mind because I left them off my own written list by mistake A pen is always handy, when your horse wins or is placed you get a little certificate to fill in, and I like to do them there and then so they can't get mixed up on the way home and leave with me with no idea which horse earnt which one!

As far as entering them goes, it's little more than plonking them on the table when the right class comes up, so I'm sure you'll get some help if needed. :3
