I draw cartoons and comics. You will find me lurking about on Deviantart joining in with the Horse role-play games (HARPG) I use my models as characters in the games. Here are some drawings off some of the regulars.

Yay, Havillands stuff! I should post some of mine up here too actually... I really love the background in the bottom pic - it's so nice to see grass that isn't bright neon green as a lot of HARPGers seem to believe it is. XD

I know, grass is not toxic waste green and the sky is not navy blue. This is a winter picture so I was going with muted colours. The grass would be brighter if I was drawing a summer picture.

The haze over by the trees is very effective - it feels like a really wet, chilly day.

I do cold and miserable quite well. I sound a lot of time looking at the sky to work out how clouds go and what colour it is.

Here's my latest drawing for an online game. You don't see Sparky with his feathers all bound up very often.

I love how you always seem to add a bunny to the pic!

I'm not actually dead, just very quiet, I have been busy drawing Julip inspired comics though, here's a sample page from one. fav.me/d7f5vawThe actual page is fairly huge so I'm posting a link instead of an image.

What fun! I second the nice depictions of grass and the atmosphere of third picture. What do you use? I recently commandeered my boyfriend's Coptic and brush-tip markers to draw dinosaur cartoons (he uses them for details on mini figs), and they're surprisingly fun. The markers--my dinos are still works in progress.

Generally I use digital media, I draw using Manga Studio and then do the colouring in Photoshop. Sometimes I sketch on paper, ink with India ink 'Pitt"pens and then scan my image and colour it digitally. On occasions I uses coloured pencil or watercolour. I've never used markers, are they any good? What kinds of effects can you get with them?

I haven't done much with digital, so I couldn't begin to say how markers compare. I was really impressed by the shading and changing tons possible once I started playing. Unfortunately, Copics are expensive, so I don't play too much with them unless I have a specific project in mind. This link is to their official site, but there are tons of tutorials online. www.copicmarker.com/category/tutorial
