I've started using some of the items from the tack making pack (great idea btw) that was in my show goody bag. Renaissance now has a rug - lined with the gorgeous golden-yellow felt from the pack, although I've forgotten to take a pic of it... doh!
I made the surcingle with some of the faux leather lace and one of the buckles, her headcollar is made from the ribbon and the leadrope from the piece of golden-yellow embroidery thread, with some other colours added to match it to the rug.
She's also wearing the pretty charm that was in the goody bag - I think she's going to have to have an Arabian halter/bridle or something because it looks really nice and I'm feeling inspired to have a go.

Today's project was recycling the old Julip bridle into a headcollar for my donkey - with 1" of leather to spare! It was a lot of work but I'm pleased with the result. I'm going to hang the bit on the wall in my miniature tack shop.

In the goodybag you got :- sweets (gave to hubby as I'm a veggy) Little horse charm (might hang that in dolls house) Show day running order Buisnuess card Tack making pack A pen The tack making pack contained :- Peice of felt bit of ribbon matching felt Bit of thread matching felt Jumprings 2 chunky buckles 2 peices of fake leather 2 strips of fake leather. I must say that the fake leather in the pack is much, much, much nicer than the fake leather I've got. For one it dosen't strech and snap easy like my brown stuff does
