I would love to particularly with it being so close! But as I said last Saturday a Saturday during the Michaelmus term isn't great, want to impress my new boss so don't really want to turn around and say I can't do a day. That said! As it is reasonably close to where I work I may be able to come along in the morning and then head off to work in the afternoon So I can raid the spares at least ;p

I would love to be there and finally meet everyone I'll put it in my diary but it does depend how far away I end up when my new employers decide where to send me!

Just been calculating the best way to get there and back, it would cost me nearly £40 in petrol from home in Essex, or £16 on the train from uni in London to Oxford. Decision made It looks like there is a bus every 8 minutes from the station that goes into Littlemore as well if anyone else is thinking of getting there on public transport

Or you could catch a lift with me, I'm in Essex too.

I will probably head down to London the night before and stay with my boyfriend, London to Oxford is probably much faster on the Saturday morning than home to Oxford. But I'll have to check routes and decide car or train so not certain yet.

Oh that would be wonderful I'm about to move out of my mums place but I'm not going very far, probably still the same distance from you. Hopefully our agreeing to share won't end in snow and ice this time!

Or you could catch a lift with me, I'm in Essex too. That would be brilliant Manda, as long as it wouldn't be too much trouble! Obviously I'd help with costs! Look at us all being Eco-friendly with our 'carpooling' (is that what they say in America?)

There's empty seats going to Oxford, it makes sense to fill them.

Hopefully our agreeing to share won't end in snow and ice this time! Hopefully we'll be safe from snow and ice at that time of year, that was so annoying before! Jan (if she's going?) might want to be involved in lift-sharing too, we shared when we went to the Lake District Live
