Anyone? As it stands I don't know that I can go ahead with this I'd love to make it happen but sadly for 3 people, I just can't see it being worthwhile to anyone

Have you advertised outside of this forum? Maybe try MHL and/or the Julip groups on FB?

I don't go on those forums etc so wasn't sure if there would be any interest, might give it a go because I'd still really like to see this go ahead! Thanks for the ideas

I would definitely advertise it on the forums ( especially GJF and MHL ) and on the Julip FB sites, if you don't go on them, I can try and do for you if you want me to, just to see if there's any extra interest, I'm sure there will be, it would be such a shame if it doesn't take place.

Thank you, I can try GJF and I'm trying to join the FB groups, but I'd appreciate any help because I don't use any of the other sites. Not sure how seriously I'd be taken when no one knows me

13th July clashes with Summertime Fun live CTF show which is a BMECs qualifier for julips (and other CTF). Although a very long way for me I would love to come if I can make a long weekend of it to survive all the driving so if you could suggest any more dates I would certainly come if free

Hi Samantha, thanks for that, I hadn't realised it would clash, I thought the Summertime fun live was the 6th for some reason Any opinions on changing or sticking with 13/14th welcome

Hi Stacey! It was the 6th, but was changed because of the F1 race that weekend

Hi, thanks for clearing that up, I thought I'd seen it somewhere! I think the nearest alternative would be Saturday 20th July, if that would be of interest to anyone?

Currently I'm booked to go to another show down South on the 19th July but it is also my daughter's birthday weekend so I'd thought I would have to cancel the other show sadly anyway. Hmmm maybe I can persuade her that a trip to the Lake District would be a good idea lol!

19th July is free for me right now but not sure if my daughter has enough Julips to warrant travelling 2hrs each way.

Julip shows definitely aren't about how big your collection is, how many ribbons you win or how many classes you enter - we all have a really nice day together, whether we bring with us one horse or fifty!

I agree, it's definitely more about meeting other collectors and having fun. (And if you think 2 hours is bad, I had to travel for the best part of two days to get to my last show!)
