I can't believe how lucky I was this spares night, I managed to grab my first choice spare. As soon as I saw her, she told me her name and I had to buy her - this is Diamond Diva, named after the Diamond Anniversary. Diamond Diva by Stacey Stacey, on Flickr I wasn't as lucky with the pets, but I'm still absolutely thrilled with the pets I did get and the rider is absolutely brilliant. The gent reminds me the character Amos Brierley from waaaay back in Emmerdale. I have an EQ like your horse, he's called Artic Zinc xx

I'm so pleased you like him Stacey, that colour really seemed to suit the stock horse, thank you for posting your photos

Oh, she's really nice, such a sweet face and I really love the colour, a grey skewbald had been on my to-paint list for ages so it's very interesting to see the Julip version of that paintjob, expecially how the contrast between her patches and her white is so clear. And she's definitely my favourite from all I've ever seen on that mould (I'm afraid I still can't think of it as the stock horse, though, to me it'll always be the Sundance or 'HOTY pony' mould!)
Perfect naming, too!

I love the colour, it’s really similar to one I’ve been plotting and I think it looks so pretty I’m a Stock Horse fan, I never really liked the HOTY Pony - I find it so much more stable in originals form! Isn’t it funny how the Mustang has adapted to its new name so much more than the Stock Horse? I find the Sport Horse is the one I always forget

The patches were done with masking fluid which gives a crisper edge which looks quite nice, it's just not so good for doing any really precise patches on something like a portrait horse, as I just don't find it that easy to use for something that has to be so accurate, good for spares though!

Don’t panic Laura, you know my plans aren’t that specific
