It is with huge regret that we are having to cancel the Julip Live show that was due to take place on the 19th September 2020.
We have just had a long discussion with the hall, who have advised us that they are not in a position to be able to guarantee the safety of our group and I have therefore taken the decision to cancel the show for this year.
Firstly because our numbers on the day are so large and they have to limit the people allowed in the hall (due to social distancing) to be around twelve and secondly because the facilities within the hall such as the kitchen and toilets are going to be out of use, with the show being an all day affair, we would not be able to be without both of these facilities.
I understand that this is going to be really disappointing but the Julip shows are as much of a social event as they are a show and that the 'putting the horses on the table,' is really only a small part of what people enjoy and that catching up with and seeing friends both old and new, is in some ways the larger part. So this unfortunately is necessary in order to keep everyone safe and well and hopefully we can all meet up to an even better show again next year.
That said we can't possibly let 2020 go without some sort of celebration with it being Julip's 75th Anniversary, so we have some things planed such as the photo show (which will be the same schedule as the one that has been recently posted more information on that to come) definitely a spares batch, a new mould release and some other bits and pieces that I still have to organise!
So please keep a look out on both the forum and on some of the Julip Facebook pages for any announcements (they will be posted in both) as to what is happening over the next few weeks/months.

Just checking, can we still order models currently? (I'd love to be able to get something from the next spares batch but my internet connection has been so erratic for pretty much this whole year so far so I don't fancy my chances with that.)

The order book is open and I will be keeping it open for the foreseeable future, I have a bit of a backlog to clear, so any order may take slightly longer than usual but you are welcome to place an order, although there is a current limit of no more than two models per order.
