I really love how far special orders have come, the process could be pretty hit and miss in the past... not to say that you didn't get really lovely Julips but sometimes they weren't quite what you had in mind when you placed an order. Now that Laura has Julip Originals, this is a thing of the past and with regular updates you're sure to get just what you imagined
My mum has owned her Highland Pony Cail since I was tiny. He's an ever-present teddy bear, and all-round a lovely boy.

So naturally, when I first started collecting Julips one of my first special orders was a Julip Cail and in 2006 I decided to order a farm cob as a look-a-like. When he arrived he was rather lacking in shading, and was completely white. So I asked Julip for a re-make, who arrived the polar opposite, and was completely shaded

A couple of years passed and as I grew more familiar with Julip moulds, I decided that the Cob stallion might be a better fit as Cail. So in 2008, version 3 was ordered! He was a much, much better fit and I've kept him until now.

However, shortly after I bought Cail version 3 Julip resurrected the Cob Mare - Doh! I never felt the need to re-order him but there was always a nagging doubt that he'd suit the Cob Mare even more... And now that Laura has taken over Julip, I felt that the time was right to try another Julip Cail on for size..!
So, without further ado, I'm pleased to introduce Cail Version 4.0!

I'm so in love with him and I really think this is the one. He perfectly captures how fluffy and soft he is, and look at that nose!

Sorry, that was a long, picture-heavy post but it feels like this Julip has been a long time coming
