I'm very pleased to confirm that the Lake District Live will be held on SUNDAY 7th July 2019
Doors open 9am, show to start 9.45am.
Venue is Storth Village Hall –There is no postcode for the village hall! The nearest is LA77LL which should lead you past the hall. I'll send attendees more specific directions nearer the date
There will be a raffle over lunch and sales, so please get involved!
Maximum of 3 entries per class except scenes which is a maximum of 2.
This is a Julip only fun show
£10 Entry fee, spectators free! If you'd like to come along to the show please get in touch via PM
Mould Classes
1) ‘New’ horses – Any horse mould currently in production, over 13cm to ears
2) ‘New’ ponies – Any pony mould currently in production, over 13cm to ears
3) ‘Old’ horses – Any horse mould not currently in production or pre-recast, over 13cm to ears
4) ‘Old’ ponies – Any pony mould not currently in production or pre-recast, over 13cm to ears
5) Foals and youngstock – Any foal or yearling mould, old or new (including donkey foals)
6) Why the big ears? – Donkeys and Mules of any generation (Excludes foals)
Colour Classes
1) Bays
2) Chestnuts – Including flaxen and livers
3) Greys – Any shade of grey allowed, pure white through to dark iron greys and anything in between
4) Duns/Buckskins
5) Palomino’s
6) Patches – Any kind of Piebald/Skewbald
7) Spots and Stripes – Any model with spots or stripes!
8) Any other colour – Blacks, roans and any you’re not sure of
9) Customised – Any Julips which do not have their original paint finish. Repainted socks etc can go in other colour classes.
Pets Classes (To be judged individually)
1) Dogs
2) Cats
3) Birds
4) Foxes
5) Rabbits & Guinea Pigs
6) Employee of the Month – Which of your riders deserves an award for work well done? Include an explanation of why your rider deserves to win
Please note: The pets champion won't qualify for the overall championship, but will receive it's own rosette

1) Ridden Horse or pony
2) Best Dressed Horse/Pony – This can include ridden horses or simply co-ordinated stable ware. Can be shown with/without rider/groom
3) Pairs – Find someone else in the hall who has a model that matches one of yours. Please note that there should only be 2 julips in a pair. (Unlimited entries)
4) Happy families – Show me your Julip families, can be mare/ foals, mare/stallion/foals, mare/stallion/foal/yearlings etc.
5) Fab Five – A conga of five. Your favourite five Julips or any 5 in your collection that share a similar trait (Must all be owned by you and must be 5 in the conga; no more, no less!)
6) Prettiest eyes – Eyes are said to be windows to the soul but which of your Julips has the nicest eyes?
Scenes Classes
1) Playful Ponies! - Well behaved and not so well behaved ponies and horses will have different ideas of 'playing' I'm sure
2) Myths & Legends – Pick a myth or legend to create in Julip form: Unicorns, Pegasus’ and characters from history all welcome here!
3) 3-Day Event – Pick any scene from a 3-day event including Dressage, Cross Country or Show Jumping.
4) Pets corner – A Pets only scene class
