First off, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Laura and co for organising the show and letting me come along with fairly late notice - I had a fantastic day ! I was a little worried to be turning up after such a long break from the Julip world but all the old and new faces were so friendly and welcoming. It feels like Julip has become even more magical than I remember, with so much excitement over spares and new moulds and so many releases of new pets and animals! I spent about twice as much as I planned and feel like I got off lightly compared to some
Below I've picked out a few of my favourites of the horses and scenes I photographed, which are mainly at the start of the show thanks to dumb iphone battery lasting about 4 minutes...
I do love the scene classes and I'm glad I got good pics of these because there are SOOO many little details I missed on the day which I can now appreciate. They may be a bit jumbled as we had two classes going on simultaneously most of the time.
Riding lesson in an indoor school!
Don't fence me in x)
Shetland Grand National! Really need a shetland...
My 'Online shopping' scene. I spent waaay too long making carrots the night before. It's only just occured to me that putting a piebald pony on a black and white floor was probably not the best idea!
Gorgeous harness and hay cart
Groom playing spade guitar in the tack room!
Rabbit agility
Christine's poor collie being abducted by aliens
Love the history behind this one. I think I recognise this pony...
Janneke's gorgeous little polo scene - just perfect in every way!
I'm hoping no actual Julip riders were harmed in the making of this one x)
This is Mumbleswan's groom Dev taking the dogs for a walk. Mini version of my own dog is the one rolling in poo at the front.
If you look carefully you can see Josh chasing one of the new flying pheasants at the back.
My unloading the lorry scene for the J.U.L.I.P scene class
Groom's relaxing on their day off.
This one brings back memories of my bedroom age 14... So many details.
Two delightful gardening scenes
More grooms enjoying a well earned break. Love the dressing gown!
Grooms by the sea!
The absolutely brilliant vet xray scene Stacey and her family made. So realistic! Check out the xray vests.
