I was watching a film documentary last night called 'Princess Diana in search of happiness' and there, about seven and a half minutes in, they were talking about her favourite places to shop back in the 80's and showed the road sign for Beauchamp Place, closely followed a few minutes later by a 'full frontal' of the Julip shop!

I know this is an old topic but.....
....There is a channel on Freeview called Talking pictures which has loads of very old films and series (it's a bit dire to be honest)
On Sunday there was a program on called 'Songs of London' which was a program showing what you should see and do if you ever visit London, it was it's usual cringeworthy self but about 10/15 minutes in, there was a bit about shopping and a clip of about 5 seconds of two little girls crouching down looking at a basement window full of horses and I'm pretty sure it was the Julip Shop!
I never managed to get there unfortunately but if anyone went to the Julip shop in Beaucham Place in Knightsbridge back in the day, have a few minutes to spare and can bear to sit through the first 10 minutes (there's no fast forward unfortunately but you can mute the sound!) I wonder if they can confirm that it is the shop.
In order to be able to see catch up programs on Talking Pictures ( channel 82) you have to go to the channel and then click on the red button on your controller) I apologise in advance of having to put anyone through the beginning of the program!
