Littlemore Village Hall Railway Lane Oxford OX4 4PY
The hall has now been confirmed for the Julip Originals Live Show 2018
It will take place on Saturday 15 September 2018 at the Littlemore Village Hall in Oxford OX4 4PY, there will be a lot more details coming closer to the time but I thought it would give anyone who has to work on a Saturday a nice long time to try and book the day off, so please make sure to write it in your diaries, apologies to anyone who is unable to make this date but it was the only day they had left so I feel quite lucky to have got it at all
I'll need to find some time to start continue working on my scenes soon. I bought a new horse (a real one) recently and work has been very, very busy. Hopefully things settle a bit after next week and I can find the time to get creative again.
Same here! :3 Any of my herd you particularly want to meet as well? I’ll only be able to bring a fairly limited selection so I’m going to make it count!
Ooooh new horse?!
Well, Tamarind, of course... And Harry! Love him! <3
Little off topic, but... yes! I had decided to retire my old mare from the sport. She's had some trouble with the first and second phalanax in her left front for some time now. So she has spend the summer months with the youngsters in the field (which she loves, she's a perfect kindergarten teacher) and I was kind of trying to figure out what to do with her, what the options are, etcetera. She's doing incredibly well: she looks fantastic and she still trots and gallops through the field like it's nothing. As long as she's able to move freely she's doing alright, but any proper physical strain causes troubles.
I knew that at some point I wanted a second horse, been saving up for years, casted some nets... but you know: not really purposefully looking for it.
And then I sort of happened to be at the right place at the right time and one thing led to another and I bought Mitje... It all went really quickly, but I'm so glad I was in the position to purchase her. She's a really lovely six year old Westphalian, fantastic character, incredibly kind and a lovely, very workable jumper. But she can be really sassy too, which I like a lot about her.

Hello everyone! Christine forced (ok, strongly encouraged) me to create an account so here I am I'll be driving down with her to the show, so was wondering if anyone needs to be picked up from train/coach stations? Or if anyone is travelling from nearby (we're going from Tetbury) I'd be happy to drive you to the show hall. I've got two free seats in my car and a fair amount of boot space
I don't have any Julips and doubt I'll have enough money to buy a spare, but I'm happy to watch and help where needed
With new people attending the show, it might be a good idea if we all make name badges for ourselves with our real name and any screen names we use on different forums and social media. It will make it easier for me as a steward, if I am calling classes and looking for Judges if I can call you by your name and not call you "er?" or 'excuse me' all day. "Excuse me, could you judge this class please?" "Excuse me, could you take your models out of ring two please?" See? Much better if I can use your names.
