So my room is kinda small and its difficult to find a place to have my display, I am thinking of turning this cupboard into a cabinet for my models, Julips and others, is it too near the window? Thinking of sunlight etc. Please excuse the mess XD

The cupboard looks to be OK, yes it is quite near the window and Julips and other models can be affected by the sun. If it's a really bright or hot day you could always keep the curtains closed or get some blinds that would filter out the sun?

The cupboard looks to be fine and it's doesn't look as if it's in direct sunlight, it will be mostly be the grey horses or the white parts on the models that will be affected, so maybe put them in the darker parts of the cupboard (if there are any) and as Whitestones has mentioned if it's a particularly sunny day you could just pull the curtains if you're worried they're getting too much sun.

Thanks for the replies, it doesn't get that bright, its a south facing room and the sun is more in the living room than in mine, so definitely not in direct sunlight luckily, I have kept my Breyer's in there for a long time and they aren't effected I don't think, though not sure if I had the curtains open a whole lot then, now I've started to XD Do Julip's suffer in heat more than Breyer's? Once I kept one of my Breyer's in direct sunlight by accident and it swelled up!

The Julips are a bit of a law unto themselves, we always say try not to give them extremes of temperature such as very hot near fireplaces or direct sunlight and very cold like in a garage or loft. However, there are vintages that have been stored in the worst imaginable conditions and the are as good as the day they were made and more modern ones that really suffer, no one knows exactly why, it is a Julip mystery!
I would say beware of moths and put a couple of moth balls down near anything with mohair, Zentec by Vapona seems to be quite effective , they are little orange balls that don't smell and turn to white when they need changing, just be careful if you have animals or children in the house because they do look a bit like sweets.

Ok I will take a look at those moth balls. It doesn't seem to get too hot in the cupboard but with adding glass doors it might not sure though.
