Hi there! I thought it would be nice to create a new thread to show some of the new props I've made. I'm not too sure what I have and haven't shown on here, but if you would like to see more frequent updates be sure to have a peak at my blog or Instagram: I try to post something new there at least once a week.
That being said: on to the props!
As the winter is coming I made all my ponies some cosy navy blue blankets. Nothing too fancy, as my sewing skills aren't that marvelous. Blueberry is happy with hers!
And Blueberry again, this timing posing with her tack: I think some of you might have seen this at the photo show, but I believe I didn't show the matching boots there. So here's the complete set:
Blueberry is on a roll today, because she also happily shows of her suede tan polo saddle. The rest of her proper polo attire is still a work in progress...
And today I've been busy 'weathering' a few premade miniature create and a broom. I found some transferable mini letters in my big box of crafty things and had just enough 'L's left to spell 'Stal Wollepluis'. Nice little touch I think.
I also repainted a ordinary tin dolls house bucket to make it look like a old, fancy enamel one. I also changed the handle, because it looked massively out of scale.
And, last but not least: I made a little boxwood tree! I had sooo much fun making that one! I'll probably make some more little bushes to plant around the yard. They're really simple to make too! All you need is a spun cotton ball, a twig, some glue, green paint and... bulgur!
Cuddles for cute little Moppet hiding behind the tree. <3
And that's it for now! This week I bought the stable that astudyinscarlet had for sale, so that will be my next (big) project. I plan on redecorating it to make it fit with the rest of the yard. I'll definitely make a thread for that one too!
