I've reluctantly decided to part with my flaxen chestnut CJP as I could do with making some space and money for other models. Made a few years ago (by Laura, he's not especially old), he's still in excellent condition except for slight paint rubs to the very tips of his ears. He has never been played with or posed much. He is a fairly light and shaded/speckly chestnut with a blond mane and tail (I trimmed the mane so it's more of a pulled mane), a white star and a hind sock. He also has painted on horseshoes. I also have a Model Pony Tackshop double stable for sale. It's about 1/12th scale and will fit Julip horses. In excellent condition except for a tiny scrape to the edge of the wood to the left one of the doors (top left of left hand door here) and a couple of tiny rubs to the stone effect paper (just below latch of left hand stable here) but I'm sure both could be easily touched up. Asking around £20 including UK postage for it. SOLDstables (2) by A Study in Scarlet, on Flickr stables (1) by A Study in Scarlet, on Flickr

I've been going back and forth about that little stable you've got there. It would be an awesome project for the holidays to customize it a bit!
Let me first ask you: would you consider shipping to The Netherlands? And I was wondering if it's made out of wood or cardboard? Does it flat pack?

I would definitely consider it but I don't know what the postage costs would be for that. It's wooden (actually MDF board I think) underneath the stone-effect paper. It doesn't flat pack.

Ahh, great. I don't know what the weight of the stable might be? I believe postage costs aren't too bad if the package doesn't exceed 2/3 kilos. So if the postage isn't going over your asking price (anything up to £20 is fine) I would happily buy the block from you! But - I totally understand if you'd rather like to sell to someone within the UK!

I can't really sell it for £20 including the postage to the Netherlands, sorry (even the cheapest shipping I can find is going to be several pounds more than the UK postage would be).

Ohh, no that's not what I meant. Sorry! Looking back I see that I haven't written that down clearly enough, excuse me for that! What I meant to say: I would happily pay you your asking price of £20 + the additional postage (as long as the total - including shipping - isn't going over £40). I just have a thing for not wanting postage to cost more than the actual item I'm buying. Hope that clears things up!

Oh OK, I think it's about £8 more than the UK shipping then so £28 in total.

I also have a vintage flaxen chestnut Julip Dartmoor for sale, dates from the late 1980s (I don't think he has a mouth letter). He is quite slim, very much like the modern Dartmoors but maybe slightly more refined, nothing like as chunky as my other 1980s Dartmoor. In nice condition for an older model, he has gone very stiff and the legs aren't poseable any more but he's not gummy. I had to repair some slight damage to his front feet and have repainted all of his hooves and also I rehaired him with blonde mohair as his original mane and tail had been cut too short. His chestnut colour is about the shade of the catalogue models like Sienna. Pics to be posted later when I can find my camera. SOLD

I've just found the Dartmoor's original rider while sorting through my model stuff so I will include her with the Dartmoor pony for the same price (£36 including UK postage). She's very stiff, not really poseable any more, although she can probably just about get on a pony still. I also had to repair one boot and repaint her boots and hat but aside from going stiff she looks in decent condition still and her clothes, hair, hands and face are fine.
