So...poor Paprika hasn't had much in the way of rugs so I thought I'd make him a new one today and a nice new headcollar I'm really happy that I've worked out how to do bias binding properly so the stitches don't show I'm pleased with how the buckles turned out, it's very thin wire but the other I've got is too thick and not flexible enough. Paprika models his new headcollar with grosgrain ribbon and padded noseband, matching his show rug. Really I could do to add a tail flap to his stable rug or alternatively, attempt some of those leg straps that buckle around one hind leg and then the other buckles through that strap and to the other side. Or maybe a much simpler fillet string

I love that rug! It looks so cosy and well, snug. XD I'd stick with a fillet string personally, I haven't attempted leg straps. XD
