Here's ONE of the little bundles of joy I managed to nab from Jen's yard's big sale. Meet GM Thistle-Me-Down, a pretty new forest gelding, generally well behaved, and up for most thing (however, he will sometimes have a grumpy off day, in which you wont be able to get him to do anything at all, no matter how many polo packets you wave at him) As well as being well on his way to becoming a staple pony on the yard during lessons, he's on a part-time loan to one of the girls from the village, Chancy, who's been a regular rider at the yard for a few years now. (Sidenote - ignore that headcollar, I havent gotten round to sorting one out yet, so he's having to put up with the broken spare )

Cutie! I asked about riders too, the only one left is quite damaged so I think I missed the boat!

He's lovely, and I like the pictures of him with his new rider on board, they remind me of the sort of pics people might take when a new real pony arrives on the yard and doesn't have any tack sorted out yet - just have a quick sit-up bareback for a commemorative 'first day here' photo or two

Chancy is very lucky! The new forest is a fab mould, I'm not entirely sure why I don't have one...
