I did eventually manage to get a fox, and a border collie - I'll have the collie be my christmas present cos that's the dog my mum had when she lived at home, his name was Shep and I think she'd like the idea of buying me a mini-Shep (she'll also be pleased that the dogs don't cost as much as she'd have given me towards a horse )

The internet was so slow tonight that I just gave up - the new pages were loading and the ponies were already sold. I don't think I got anything at all!

I was hoping for a donkey but there was only the donkey foal. I think I've managed to get a cat and fox.

Sometimes it's almost a relief though - I deliberated over the caramel Arab champion because she's SO beautiful but I have a similar one and by then the decision was made for me so I relaxed haha.

Nothing for me after all, too slow internet out here in the sticks to stand a chance at anything, really I'm in the capital city of Wales, on what is apparently 60MBPS, and still couldn't get the doggies I wanted! Still I got some lovely spares

I'm 0.56MBPS, which is all the old low capacity telephone lines can manage round here - it's little wonder I'm so far behind everyone else if 60MBPS is a thing that's possible now

It looks very likely now I won't even be able to get online at 7.30 so my already minuscule chances of getting anything I liked have gone down even further. Oh no I know it may not be much consolation but sometimes I've checked back later and there have still been some lovely spares left unclaimed. Hope you do manage to get online by some stroke of luck. There's never been anything I really want left later, every one that I'd have loved goes practically instantly (in fact most of them full stop go practically instantly) (or else all the ones I would have liked are the ones that get sold at the live shows and never even make it to the online spares). I totally missed about half of the horses since I couldn't get online in time but coming online for the rest was totally pointless anyway, everything I wanted was gone within a few seconds.

I shall write to the Welsh Assembly and explain that they owe me a couple of Julips

Would it be bad if I said I wasn't sure? I'm trying to persuade Brendon that it is my birthday on Saturday so he should really pay for at least one of them Think I'll give him a dog for Christmas if I managed to get a dog!

I must admit, it was a scrum this time! I can't believe how quickly the pets went.

I just did one of those internet speed test things to join in lol, apparently we have 5mbps which is I think what the provider suggested we'd get at least! But I still think luck comes into it massively, depending exactly when you hit refresh and things like that. Definitely adds to the excitement!
