Oh wow! Well done, they look amazing. I like the pirate fabric one! Time for some more originals to sew for then....

They look wonderful. I'm really jealous of some of your fabrics, that blue/turquoise stripey one and the blue-metallicy looking one next to it especially. Where do you find some of those lovely fabrics? I'm always searching for fabrics like that but I've never found anything close to that.

I get them from either my local fabric shop or an amazing craft shop we go to on holiday, in the patchwork section - when I eventually get off my bum and send you that parcel of stuff, I could include a few sections if you like? I've got fabric coming out of my ears so I can definitely spare some!

My local fabric shop (well, I say local but 20 miles away) closed down at the beginning of the year and now I have nowhere to get my fabric fix. There isn't even a place that sells buttons or cotton thread! The big hobby shop sells the little fabric squares but you have to get them in a bundle of 100 for about $50 and most of them I don't like so wouldn't use. I have been saving my kid's old clothes and so my ponies will have to be dressed in either worn out dora the explorer pajamas or whatever I can make from plain felt!!

The only 'real life' shop I know that sells fabric in smaller quantities and is reasonably easy for me to get to is Hobbycraft and their fabrics all seem to be pretty plain and boring. Even ebay and various online fabric shops though seem quite short on interesting blue/turquoise fabrics too these days. Maybe those colours aren't in fashion. That would be really lovely if you could, thank you. (I probably have some spare fabrics myself if you wanted to exchange your pieces for some different ones?)
