The Julip Live show yesterday was my first ever model horse show although I show Guinea Pigs I did not know quiet what to expect. From the moment Dad (Barry) and I put a toe over door we was made welcome. It was like paradise for me if I had found these as a pony mad child well.....And as a pony mad adult it was brilliant.
Got my table ready was lent a lovely cover for table then got over excited by the goody bag. After a calming cup of tea went round chatting to people. Was lovely to meet every one and to see Chris's Red Kite and the fabulous stable she has.
The scene classes oh my gosh I could not believe how wonderful these where they all deserved a win in my eyes.
Was lovely to see all the Julip's together and what a honor as a newbie to be able to judge three classes. Lunch time came around and had sales table and yummy lunch.
Thought the raffle was a great idea to put your tickets in a cup next to item you wished to win.
The spares were soon snapped up but I managed to get a Fjord Foal and a pit pony plus a dog and fox (thanks to bank of Dad)
Icing on cake was my gorgeous Unicorn Calypso got a 3rd in the Arab class so chuffed.
Thank you Jan for bring your Fjord foal to join his Dad Avir
all in all a wonderful day a massive thank you to Laura and Manda and all others who made the day exciting.
Chattered about it all the way down the M40 think Dad had a headache by end of it lol.
I have put pics on face book if people are friends with me (Gail (Barvil) Eales) and in the Julip group
