Well.... Here's my entry!
From left to right:
Emily is riding Dancer with the radio in her hand laughing at how he looks like Peter Pan in is green party hat, but little does she know that Dancer is sneakily stealing some grapes of the buffet table... Muhahaha! Sydney the dog is whining because Dancer can steal food and get away with it and she cant! Hmmph! The Wheelbarrow race has just started, on the left is Team Simon, Fred and Mabel, on the right is Team Clare and Grace. Kendra and Miss Muffet (My sister's original - I hope that's okay!) hold the birthday banner, and behind them is a big '70' hanging from the barn arch which Simon put up earlier. Next to them is a basket full of birthday cards from friends (there are some on the table as well). Scout the fox holds a welcome sign for the party. He's hoping there will still be a slice of cake left for him though! Jenna rides Karma (Julip HOTY) with Lola the puppy sitting in her lap. Jess hols the finish flag for the race, and Rascal is having the time of his life, messing around in the hay trough! Cara sits with the rabbits Cloudy and May, who are enjoying her company.
I took some close ups aswell:
Happy 70th Anniversary, Julip! And Good Luck everyone

Since many of the staff and customers of Black Jack's Riding Stables & Livery and Peacock Saddlery are model horse fans, they are celebrating the 70th anniversary of Julip horses with a party and competitions for both real and model horses. Florian, that is not a party hatBonus image just to show the poster a bit more:

That's so lovely Laura! Did you make the mini Julip stable? It's great!

...and the tiny horses - where did you find those?! Some are HO/OO scale model railway type horses and then there are four of them I made myself which in retrospect was a really bad idea as sculpting tiny horses is a nightmare and you can't even see some of the ones I made properly anyway. And yes I made the stable too. Thank you.

Everyone's entries are so lovely! I have been working really hard on mine, I think the hardest part was getting the photo on here! (Thanks to Elli for the advice!) Oak Valley celebrates Julip's 70th birthday with a Gymkhana!
This photo shows the last game of the gymkhana, the 'Little bit of everything' race! The riders had to pick up a flag, gallop through the bending poles, jump off and bob for an apple, jump into a sack and put on a silly hat, then hop to the end and place their flag in the cone, while leading their pony. Everyone agreed it was great fun! In the background all of Oak Valley's Julip horses and ponies are wearing their own party hats and eyeing up the yummy cake! While the other riders and staff are cheering on the competitors. I had such a hard job fitting everything into just one photo so I made a small photostory for my website while I was putting everything together which shows the day in better detail. Hopefully this is allowed here... ruthandfriends.weebly.com/oak-valley-farm-photostories.html

So many brilliant entries! I don't think I'll have chance to come up with anything but it's lovely to see everyone else's efforts - I could never have competed with them anyway
