So I've tried to do more of this today...I've been scavenging the kids' old stuff (heh) and trying to make it into Julip sized props! The first thing I made was bending poles...I used to love these when I first started riding! Ours were paint tins with poles stuck into them, but I found these lids off the fragrances in Glade plug ins (!) and thought they would be perfect to attach a pole to! I don't know whether to paint them stripy or leave them plain. I then found some of those bricks that kids use to build castles (plain wooden blocks) and they reminded me of the wall jumps at my old riding school so I downloaded some brick wallpaper and glued it on! The uprights next door are just wood on a small base and need jump cups in them. I had some clear packaging that I painted with blue nail varnish to get a glossy finish for a water tray...Taffy doesn't look convinced, and I think Claire might have to get her leg on when she next takes him for jumping practice!

Thank you I get so much satisfaction out of picking up 'junk' and turning it into stuff the kids had those scoubies (they made bracelets out of them) found two that will be perfect for a hosepipe and some electric fencing!
