Thank you for sharing. Your setup is so cute! From the way people were talking I got the impression there was a Julip Blacksmith shop, not just the blacksmith himself. I really should make a blacksmith shop as we were married in one.

Here's an example of the old blacksmith set-up It's really lovely to see the new prototypes, I particularly like the one with glowing coals. I'd love to see new jumps (particularly blocks and wings separately)

I love the glowing furnace and the fences.

Update on the fencing, this is a slightly different design in that the tops have a slope and the horizontal slats are 'let' into the uprights, the first photo shows the differences in the two fences.

Also another prototype....a donkey cart! It's based on the vintage donkey cart with a few adjustments to take the larger modern donkey (there will also be one that fits a pony as well!). There are still a few adjustments to be made but it's getting there, the back flap can be moved so it tips open, the shafts have to have a bit of shape put in them and there may need to be some hard wear fitted onto them to take the harness but it's starting to take shape.

Ooo I like the cart but with two vintage carts myself I wouldn't necessarily be buying it. I would buy some harness if that was available.

Love the fence adjustments - very neat.
The donkey cart looks fabulous and I can't wait to see the pony version!

I love the donkey cart - i'd definitely buy one as I keep getting outbid on the vintage ones on evil-bay.

The cart looks brilliant! All my attempts to make one have failed miserably so I'd definitely be interested.
How high is the fence in comparison to a horse?

I'll try and get a photo of a horse next to the fence, the gate section is coming along nicely, Jan is going to have a go at some harness for the carts and we've been having a think about the jumps, so lots going on.
Here's a photo of the TB next to the first type of fencing.

Pony cart!!! The forge is interesting, but not something I'd ever buy. The fencing has more potential, and I'd be on the list for pony cart. Happy to see fun stuff in the works!
